To come to you for all my comfort.
To run to you for affirmation.
To mourn with you when your children hurt.
To laugh with you when your children rejoice.
To sing praises when your work is done!
Lord, I turn from my old ways of affirmation and trying to find myself in the things of this world and I turn to you.
You are good God and your mercy endureth forever!
